摘要

The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) the Lesson Plan Design with Problem- Based Learning (PBL); (2) the learning process with PBL in improving the students’ critical thinking skill on history subject; (3) the evaluation system with PBL in improving the students’ critical thinking skill on history subject, (4) the improvement of the students’ critical thinking skill on history subject. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, implemented with three cycles: individual PBL in the first cycle, big group PBL in the second one, and small group PBL in the third one. The data collecting techniques are observation and test. The data is analyzed through Classroom Action Research.
